Samantha Stroman
Samantha Stroman is an accomplished Breakdown FX and Textile Artist with extensive experience in film, television, and theatre. With a career spanning over several high-profile projects, Samantha has contributed to notable productions such as Percy Jackson and the Olympians (Disney+), The Last of Us (HBO), Heretic(a24), Tron: Ares (Disney), Shogun (FX/Disney+), Dead Boy Detectives (Netflix), Peacemaker (HBO), Jurassic World: Dominion, and Deadpool 2, among many others. Samantha’s work in textile arts has earned her several awards, including the CAFTCAD Excellence in Crafts for Shogun and Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins. A graduate of Vancouver Community College with a Fashion Arts Diploma and Emily Carr University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Samantha has also received recognition for her creativity, winning various design awards and distinctions. She currently serves as the Costume Department Co-Chair for IATSE 891, where she continues to inspire and lead the next generation of costume professionals.
