Ayla McIninch is a  costumer and textile specialist with over two decades of experience in film, television, and independent design. She has sourced wardrobe and fabrics for acclaimed projects including Shogun, Peter Pan & Wendy, Snake Eyes and Deadpool 2. Known for her deep textile knowledge and artistic eye, Ayla approaches costume buying as a creative and collaborative process—supporting storytelling through global thoughtful sourcing, historical accuracy, and attention to detail. 

Ayla’s artistic practice extends beyond the screen.  As the founder of Hold Your Ground atelier, she has been dedicated to creating sustainable, handcrafted and bespoke accessory design since 1996.
